AeTec's ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) system is designed to ensure complete integration of every facet of the business. From the RFQ through product invoicing, the ERP system helps manage the details of each strategic business unit resulting in a seamless operation. Request for Quotation: (RFQ) A request made by the customer for pricing on a particular process or service.

Contract Review: Procedures by which all RFQs are processed and quoted within our ISO 9002 system.

Engineering: Defines and documents the process, equipment and materials needed in order to respond to the customer's process request as outlined in the RFQ.

Order Administration: When a PO is received from the customer it is verified against the original quote and a sales order is created.

Document Control: The management of all drawings, BOMs, CAD data, and other pertinent information to support the production process.

Planning: All functions including forecasting, MRP and order scheduling that assists AeTec in responding quickly and efficiently to our customers' needs.

Master Production Schedule: (MPS) - A carefully managed build plan for all anticipated production items, which drives material and capacity requirements planning.

Material Requirements Planning: (MRP II) - A set of techniques, driven by the MPS, which ensures correct quantities of parts are procured and delivered on time.

Capacity Requirements Planning: (CRP) - Information utilized to establish, measure, and adjust levels of capacity in labor and machine resources required to accomplish all production tasks and guarantee on time delivery.

Procurement: The purchasing of all direct and indirect materials from qualified and approved vendors, who are monitored on an ongoing basis for quality, price and delivery performance.

Receiving Inspection: Where all incoming material is inspected upon receipt in order to ensure the production of high quality products.

Production: A well-trained team of certified personnel and specialized equipment, designed to produce and deliver high quality products and services to AeTec's customers.

Quality Assurance: The planned and systematic activities within our ISO 9002 quality system that ensure our products and services meet or exceed customer requirements.

Shipping: Careful, versatile and speedy packaging of all products for shipment to the customer.

Accounting: Process by which an invoice is generated and mailed to the customer after the product has shipped. This is the final step in a system designed to ensure customer satisfaction.
